Growing up in this family was awesome, but at the same time caused us to all to have opinions on everything. Even the smallest things, such as choice for dinner, became an all out battle royal because if you didn't speak up, you were not heard and did not get what you wanted, EVER. That is how I have become blessed and yes, I truly mean blessed, with the ability to say what I need to say now. My step-father is probably the funniest guy I know so not only did we learn to formulate opinions from our wonderful mother, but our dad taught us how to make light of life and become the jokesters we are today.
Now I'm not going to say that this 'ability' has not caused me to put my foot in mouth a few times, but that is for another blog entry.

Nate and I at our wedding |
I met my husband in high school at the age of fifteen and he is two years my senior. He was once referred to a cradle robber at the age of eighteen for dating a sixteen year old by the guy who did his senior pictures, none the less, but that did not stop him from asking me to marry him three years later in May of 2008. We got married six months later in December of 2008. In 2013, we will be having our first non-furry child.
Nate and I now |
We live a good life and just bought our first house in November of 2011. We do already have three furry children Sydney, Seymore and Shelia. I don't know why I named them all with 'S.' I blame it on watching too much of the Duggar family on TLC.

Sydney when she is not busy being a rap star |
Sydney is the second-born and she was adopted by walking into our apartment one cold January morning. She walked in took a nap and I decided that she must be mine! (I did of course try to relocate her owner, but what jackass leaves their baby kitten out in a rainstorm in the middle of January?)
Sheila looking guilty but still loves the taste of plaster walls in the morning |
The in-laws: Kim and Tom |
Lastly, this is my extended family or as I would say Nate's family. They have provided us with hours of endless entertainment and this blog will mention them quite a bit since my mother-in-law is my partner in crime when it comes to jokes, sarcasm and nicknames. My mother-in-law actually gave me the title of this blog so hats off to you Kim!
